Research

Research in the Young lab broadly focuses on wildlife ecology. A large component of our work aims to increase human-wildlife coexistence by working directly with people experiencing or managing conflicts or who have other concerns involving wildlife management and conservation. The Young lab also works on other critical aspects of wildlife ecology, including animal behavior, population dynamics, predator-prey ecology, and urban ecology. Member of the Young lab study wild and captive animals to achieve these research goals.
